 Ihsan Dars is a traditional Islamic learning circle situated in Pullur, near Manjeri in the blessed district of Malappuram district, Kerala. The Dars is dedicated to preserving and transmitting authentic Islamic knowledge based on the Qur’an, Sunnah, and the rich scholarly tradition of Ahlus-Sunnah.

The Dars is led by the respected scholar and main Usthad, Al Hafiz Ubaid Faizy Nellaya, whose guidance and leadership form the foundation of the institution’s academic and spiritual environment. He is supported by a team of committed assistant Usthads who assist in teaching, mentoring, and nurturing the students. Together, they ensure a disciplined and spiritually enriching atmosphere for learning and character development.

Currently, more than 100 Mutallimeen (students) are pursuing Islamic studies at Ihsan Dars. The institution focuses not only on academic excellence but also on the purification of the heart, strengthening of faith, and cultivation of noble character. The learning system combines classical Islamic scholarship with practical spiritual training, preparing students to become knowledgeable, responsible, and sincere servants of the Ummah.

Ihsan Dars functions under the affiliation of Suffa Dars Coordination, which ensures academic structure, scholarly connection, and adherence to traditional standards of Islamic education. The students of the Dars are organized under the Ihsan Dars Students' Association (IDSA), which plays an active role in student development, leadership, and community engagement.

Ihsan Dars stands as a center of sacred knowledge, spiritual growth, and disciplined learning, committed to producing scholars and individuals who embody sincerity, knowledge, and service to Islam and society.

About The Fest

A Sanctuary of Islamic Art, Voice & Craft
Gulzare Funoon is the annual arts festival of Ihsan Dars — a gathering where artistic expression becomes a pathway of devotion. Bringing together students across sub-junior, junior, and senior categories, the festival honors the rich spiritual heritage of Islam through Quranic recitation, sacred calligraphy, eloquent oratory, literature, and stage arts.

Here, every stroke of the pen, spoken word, and stage performance is a reflection of the heart, judged not only on artistic mastery and presentation, but on the purity of sincerity (Ikhlas) and reverence (Adab) behind it.
